In the March, Qnet conducted successfully a training course on Oracle 12c Database Administration with delegating from the Oracle for customers Vietinbank. It is said that, Oracle Database 12c is a version to help organizations, enterprises to increase their efficiences and reduce costs in migration their databases into clouds.
The training course is conducted in 5 days to provide basic knowledge on Oracle database administration with the latest technology versions, in order to impove data management for businesses at the bank/finace sectors. Consequently, Vietinbank became also the first bank in Vietnam with Oracle 12c database administration experts, trained regularly at Vietnam at the present.

Information from Qnet's instructors show that in Oracle Database 12c there are 4 main features:
1. It could consolidate 252 component databases (all are products of Oracle) into one "mother" database (container database), so that optimizing computing resources, reducing investment into hardware infrastructure. If in the previous DB systems, one server could install maximal 50 component databases with 20GB storage, the new technology with Database 12c, the capacity of storage resources could be reduced 6 times.
2. Automating the mechanism for optimizing data for management of storage equipments. The transferring data into adequate storage media is implemented automatically with the Data Heat Map technology: based on the heat map to mark the data access frequence, Oracle solution will help companies to decide to move data with less accesses into adequate storage equipments (data with less accessing will be moved to cheap equipment, datta with much accessing will be stored on the storage equipment with high speed and more expensive).
3. With the redaction feature, working as a hiding method for sensitive data when providing data to the end users. For example with credit card numbers, people working at the human resources department could see the whole number of the credit card, but others at different departments could see only four last digits. The new security feature will help organizations, companies to be more secure when consolidating databases into clouds.
4. Helping companies to find more business opportunities from Big Data, including unstructured data (forr example from social networks) and common structured data.
